  1. I’m 62 and can not lose weight. I’m gaining like crazy.. you have a plan for me to try

    • Hey Debbie. I’m 68 years old and the Keto program worked for me. When I started I didn’t tell anyone because I wanted to do it for myself. I even started walking every morning (inside my house during Winter) while coffee is brewing. I found that I had more energy throughout the day. I am seldom hungry but I establish portions at each meal so that I don’t overeat. I had to write down what I ate until I got the gist of carbs and sugars and calories. I set a limit of 25g carbs and 10g sugars per day in the beginning. And yes, I was surprised to know that onions and carrots and celery contain sugar! I increased those limits slightly after I reached an acceptable weight. When I gain a few pounds, I cut out the cocktails and the desserts until I reach my desired goal. I encourage you to try the keto program even if the rest of your family is unable to join you. Do it for yourself – because your goal is to be healthy.
