Refusing Holiday Food & Staying Low-Carb

Refusing Holiday Food and Staying Low-Carb by Dana Carpender

The holidays are straight ahead, and with them piles and piles of carby junk, and worse, people nagging you to eat the stuff. Why so many people think that saying things like "But you have to eat it! It's traditional!" and "I worked all afternoon making it just for you" constitutes an expression of holiday goodwill, I have no idea, but sadly this behavior is all too common. You need to think ahead about how to respond to this sort of thing.

  1. I would like to know if you can still lose weight and not be in ketosis? I think i have a high resistance. What can i do to help it along? I have lost 8 pounds in one month.

  2. Beverly Magnuson

I have been following Low Carb lifestyle since July 2012,I went from 149 lbs. to 128 lbs. I have been using the low carb tortillas once in a while for a sandwich and Dreamfield Pasta,I am wanting to know if these are ok for me to eat and are they really low carb?

    • Dreamfield pasta is pretty much a scam. Low carb tortillas are fine once and a while, but if you’re plateaued, try removing those from your diet.
